Learning Processes

Each of the links (in the left-hand menu) offers ideas and information about learning processes that we can draw from to help ourselves learn better, or to help others to learn, in the presence or aftermath of violence.

Most of the information does not focus explicitly on the impact of violence on learning, but it can help us understand more about the processes of learning, and how violence and trauma affects the brain.

For students this can help us to understand how to build on our strengths and understand ways we learn best. For educators this information can lead us towards inspiring teaching approaches and show us how to create more effective learning for all.
